New Vanity Call Sign

- Image via Wikipedia
I finally did it. I had been considering different options for a vanity call sign. I decided on the following choices:
- K0BEK (my initials)
- K0ENB (Last Name, First Initial)
- KO0EN (The last name and very long in morse code)
While each has its own merits, the call that I dream of is K0EN. It’s short, simple, and taken.
So anyway, on Monday Dec 1st, I filed my application with the FCC, and began to wait. Checking a couple of times a week to see if the application had been approved. And, finally last Friday night, I happened to check before heading to bead. The application had been granted and my new call was K0BEK. So, N0YKN is now gone and I am officially, K0BEK.
Time to get new QSL cards. So, if I have worked you since the 20th of December, please be patient, I will be getting new cards.
