If you live in St. Louis, there is no possible way that you could have missed the news this week regarding the takeover of hometown favorite Anheuser-Busch by Belgian company InBev. Nowhere else is this felt more psychologically than here in St. Louis.
We have all grown up drinking AB products, Budweiser, Bud Light and more recently Bud Select. How many us before we were of legal age drank case after case of Natural Light? It’s a part of the fabric of our being.
Tonight on CNBC there was a show titled “American Originals: Budweiser“. It was a great show covering everything from history to the current state of the Beer industry.
What has yet to be determined is how the local consumer will handle this. Will they switch and drink local brewers rejecting the support of a foreign company? or will they remain loyal to the brands that they grew up with?
I wonder how we’d all react if General Motors were purchased by Toyota.
It’s a sign of the devaluation of the American Dollar, but hopefully not the American way of life.
Cara and I have recently started up a business. We have affiliated ourselves with a company called Escape International. The big thing that appealed to both of us was the opportunity to receive cash back on our purchases. Escape International has created an online shopping portal called Aisle 19.
Aisle 19 has put over 600 of the best online retailers together in an online mall or shopping portal. Who’s there? You ask. How about, Cabela’s, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Blockbuster, Office Depot, Packet8, and many, many more…
Also, they are running a free gasoline promotion, right now for new signups.
I would strongly suggest the you check out The Secret of Aisle 19. If you are ready to start shopping, you will need to sign up here.
We are Independent Business Owners with Escape International. Our Rep ID number is 509115, you will need this to signup.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
