BrightKite Invites

Ok, folks. I’ve got like 5 invites to a really cool service called BrightKite, if you’re interested.

If you haven’t heard of BrightKite, they bill themselves as “location-based social networking.” Basically, it’s an interesting mashup of Twitter with a GPS. Now, you can tell everyone who cares where you are doing what you are doing. Pretty nifty, huh?

Unlike alot of “Web 2.0″ applications, this one might be kind of fun. Imagine this…you have posted that you are checking out a few books at your local Borders. You get an IM that another user, perhaps a good friend, is doing the same thing. Bam! you can hook up serendipitously.

First five people to post a comment below get in. But please don’t expect to hook up. :)
